I am photographer based in Southern California. While I have worked in Corporate America for more than a decade, I also developed a deep love for the arts, especially the art of photography.
My passion for photography grows every second I have a camera in my hand, and my goal is to share the world through my lens with you. I’ve always had an interest in photography, dating back to when I was 7 and in the first grade. I was the only one in my whole class who would bring a camera in during the last days of school. I can’t even remember what it was, but it had the big disposable flashes that you would stick on the top!
Today, I only shoot in RAW and use a variety of lenses (although my favorite is my 24-105L). I love to shoot in black and white because I believe in certain instances, the absence of color gives everyday sights a whole new persepective. To me, black and white is natural, pure and true. Often times it brings my photos to life. In general, I like to shoot portaits, landscapes and everyday street photography.
These days my approach is simple, bold, classic, and timeless.
To me, photography is my therapy. It relaxes me and helps me see the world in a whole different perspective. My goal on each shoot is to learn something new about my camera. There is so much beauty around us, it's hard to capture it all. However, I love capturing the artistry of my local surroundings first and foremost. That being said, I have travelled up and down the state capturing its beauty, as well as nationally. In addition, I have shot internationally including Europe, The West Indies & Central America.
A little bit about me, I have been married for nearly 20 years, and have three bustiling kids ranging from age 10 to 15. I see the love of photograpy rubbing off on my oldest as we speak.
I have had my photography spotlighted on KTLA, The Bio Network, Facebook, The Orange County Register as well as a variety of publications that spans across multiple genres and interests.
